Modern, accessible and sustainable urban public transport is a prerequisite for reducing transport congestion related to the uncontrolled increase in the number of individual motorization and the problems it generates.
During the panel, experts from Poland and Europe will share their experiences in implementing innovative solutions in public transport. Using examples from Polish cities: Warsaw, Katowice and Wrocław and foreign ones, presented by experts from Germany and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), we will learn about modern and ecological solutions and innovative technologies implemented in various areas of transport. In particular, the aspect of modern ticket sales systems and ways of public transport fares will be discussed.

The panel is organized with the financial support of the European Commission as part of the project: “MOVE IT like Lublin – a Chisinau public transport sustainable development initiative”.
