On October, 23-25, the 2nd edition of Cross-Border Cooperation Academy took place in Lublin. This event was triggered by young people participating in Cross-Border Cooperation Congress. It is a practical add-on to the panels and debates held during the Congress. The event was attended by 18 young people active at the local and international level from Poland, Norway and Ukraine.
The agenda included training courses developing competences useful in international cooperation with targeted focus on project work, communication in an intercultural team, creative thinking, public speaking and fundraising. The training sessions were led by trainers: Mirek Urban, Paweł Krzywicki, Kaja Możdżeń and Dawid Reja.
Furthermore, the Academy created a space for networking and sharing expertise between participants, thus supporting the cooperation of youth organisations from Poland, Norway and Ukraine. The initiative continues to implement activities supporting and developing the idea of the European Youth Capital Lublin 2023.
The event was carried out as part of the bilateral initiative “Youth for the City, City for the Youth – projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities” supported by a grant of € 1 000 000 from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants.
